Art history, also called art historiography, historical study of the visual arts, being concerned with identifying, classifying, describing, evaluating, interpreting, and understanding the art products and historic development of the fields of painting, sculpture, architecture, the decorative arts, drawing, printmaking & photography. We know that art historians focus on visual arts and it is a discipline that examines trends, movements, and periods in history. As a field of study, it’s more concerned with large-scale artistic movements rather than development of Western and Indian aesthetics.

It is our motto to develop aesthetic skill of our students through the study curriculum of Art history and Art Theory. They can expand their understanding and thought on art activities. Many of them can engaged themselves art curetting events , Writing on Art and aesthetic etc.
